A script font inspired by noodles

No items found.

With cuisine always on my mind and a hunger for creative fusions, I wanted to design a script inspired by noodles. In the process, it was a balancing act not to get too complicated, while still finding ways to imbue quirkiness and personality. The system pulls characteristics from ramen and Art Nouveau fonts, with folds and squiggly details. This mostly connected script with contextual rules, alternates, and swashes provides plenty of variety for headers and blockquotes. Use it for your restaurant menus or recipe books. The font has language support for Hawaiian, and work is in progress for Vietnamese diacriticals. Its undulating curves are scrumptious enough to eat—slurp away!
